I would classify myself as a classic “WHY?” person. What I mean by this, is that I generally don’t do anything or get involved with any activity unless I see a good and logical reason to do so.
Along with a growing number of other people around the world, I have decided to get heavily involved with the issue of food security not just because of the importance of the subject, but because I see WHY I personally need to be and WHY I need to encourage others to be involved.
Project Genesis exists to essentially explain the reasons WHY our present and future involvement is vital in regards to local and global food security issues. Before we look at those reasons, it will be useful to take a brief look at the history of agriculture.
